Here in England we have got a week of holiday now. It's called "October Half Term". Ici nous avons des vacances pour une semaine. (Formidable)
In the past people used to spend the week picking potatoes on the farms so sometimes this week of school holidays is called "Tatie Picking" (short for potatoes).
